Vaughaligan "Von Won" Walwyn was born in St. Croix of the US Virgin Islands and raised on the southeast side of Houston,TX.
This Rice University graduate, NCAA All-American athlete, and US Virgin Island national record holder in the long jump with a leap of 26 ft 1 inch has emerged as an elite gospel recording artist and powerful motivational speaker.
After a career ending knee injury and losing his father to AIDS, Von Won journeyed down a path of bad decision making which lead him to getting tazed multiple times and abused by police, a night Von Won calls "Shock Therapy.
This event pushed Von Won to put down his reckless lifestyle of drinking, drug abuse and promiscuity to live a life of integrity, encouraging people through inspirational media.

Von Won Ministries is a 501c3 non-profit organization based out of Houston,TX, the 4th largest city in the United States. This ministry is spearheaded by Vaughaligan "Von Won" Walwyn but supports several ministers and operates in many dynamic functions.
It is the heart of Von Won Ministries to be a faith based organization focused on changing the world through faith based media. This includes plans for a full length feature film, "Blackout," publishing our first book, Shock Therapy, the annual Holy Hip Hop For Hunger Event, Kingz Camp Tv & Radio, missions trips worldwide, prison ministry and more.
